Float in float bowl. Remove float bowl and clean and adjust float. Turn carburetor upside down to make sure float sits level then attach float bowl then reattach carburetor.

Testimonial: "I have cleaned carbs 4times and set float height each time it does not matter if float is high or low when you lean to left it coughs and dies it wont take throttle like engine is cold"

I once had an issue on my CB550 when I turned right I'd blow a fuse. It turned out there was a frayed turn signal cable. Every time I turned so far the wires shorted. Look for bare, or frayed wires near your left front turn signal.

When i pull up or stop the bike it just dies other

Your idle circuit in the carb can be clogged. Have you tried to set and adjust the idle? Have you tried running with the choke on a bit. This problem can be due to
  • 1) clogged idle circuit in the carb.
  • 2) ignition timing
  • 3) Vacuum leak at carb to head mount.
  • 4) restriction in tank port, or clogged screen in tank valve.
Hope this helps.

Is there a trick to kick starting my nsr 250??

I stand on the left hand side of my bike and lean over the seat.
I then use my hand to start my MC 16. Every one thinks it is funny but my legs are too long and the kick stater is too short. I hope this is what you meant.

2002 yamaha v star 1100 when i hold it at high rpms it backfires a bit is this normal or ok or whats my problem?

if you are sitting still and not riding the bike (just revving it out till it wont rev any more)then it is notbackfiring as such you have reached the engines rev limiter and it is cutting power to the coils in sequence to protect itself from destruction,if it is backfiring at high rpm while riding then is quite likely the engine is running a touch on the lean side, and this needs to be rectified as an engine run for to long in a lean state will cause premature failure of major engine components(pistons normally melt and weld themselves to the barrells)not ideal at all, hope this helps
