Try braided brake lines and sintered pads or a pad with a high % of copper in them. This will make a difference.

Changing callipers is possible not sure if the VFR ones are a bolt on mod - id go the other way first.

Braided lines will cost you about $120 fronts only and the pads will be about 45-55$

Hi, I would first try braided brake lines. Then with fresh fluid and decent brake pads, you should have very good stopping power.

2005 vfr800 ABS light is on and does not go off.

I had same issue aswell.I used an aircompresser and blew away all the dust from brake calipers etc. and that seemed to work.hope this helps...Dave
