Sorry don't understand this one the Daelim is a 4 stroke engine. The oil pump forces the oil around all parts including the head where the cams are. If you drain the engine oil from the sump plug you refill as per the user manual. Never heard of just draining the cam assembly.

Refill twin cam oil on 2007 dyno street bob

Your oil tank is under the transmission, so I'll use this illustration:

http://images.motorcycle-usa.com/PhotoGallerys/07_TWINCAM96_C01A.jpg

Start at the Transmission End Cover (the one that says "SIX SPEED" stamped on it).
Directly at 9 o'clock on the cover is a screw.
Straight up from that screw is a chrome plug with an Allen wrench hole. This is where you fill the TRANSMISSION fluid.

Straight back from that is a chrome cap with the finger grooves in it.
THIS is where you fill the ENGINE OIL.

BOTH caps have an attached dipstick for checking the fluid level.

Oil has gotten to my stater and has ran out of the stater plug, How can I fix it

If it is just leaking a little, remove the primary cover. Push the stator plug into the primary housing. Clean the plug and hole it goes into with brake cleaner. Apply black silicone to the outside of the stator plug and push back into the hole. Replace the primary cover, and after the silicone is dry, refill the primary. If oil is leaking alot, and the bike is a Twin Cam, check to make sure vent hose on the trans top cover isn't plugged. Twin Cam primaries vent through the trans and if the vent hose is plugged, oil will be under pressure in the primary and force itself out around the stator plug.

Trying to find the oil drain plug, have pulled two plugs from the bottom of the motor and neither one was the drain plug for the motor oil.One of these plugs I dont know what its for or how to refill...

I'm not a Twin Cam mechanic but I do know that the oil tank on your Wide Glide is on the bottom of the transmission. I think it has two oil drain plugs, one on the bottom of the pan and one facing the front of the bike on the left front corner of the pan. The transmission drain is the socket head pipe plug on the front of the oil pan, I think. One of the plugs on the bottom of the engine is simply a drain for the cam chest. If you're working in that area, you can drain the oil out of it by removing the plug. It'll refill itself once you start the engine. This should be the plug directly below the pushrod tubes. I'm not sure of what the other plug you pulled was. Like I said, I'm not a Twin Cam mechanic. I work on the older models like the Panhead, Shovelhead, Evo, and Ironhead Sportys.
Go to this site and look up your bike and see what these plugs go to. http://www.bikebandit.com

How much oil does the primary case hold on a 2000 harley fatboy 88 twin cam

It should hold between 36 and 44 ounces. Stand the bike as straight up as you can and still be safe. Remove the derby cover and drain the old oil. Refill the primary with oil until the oil level is right at the bottom of the outer clutch drum. If you fill it too high, your clutch will drag and you' will not be able to find neutral with the engine running.

In my first attempt to change my engine oil, I drained oil from bottom of my 2001 Fatboy, from the plug on the right side towards the front of the engine, just below the Twin Cam Cover and floor board,...

I'm not that familiar with the Twin Cam engine but from what you're saying, Harley has a drain or something in the cam chest of the Twin Cam engine. This is something new for Harley as the previous engines had no means of draining the cam chest. I would imagine that this is what the oil you saw was, oil in the cam chest waiting to be pumped back to the oil tank by the oil pump that is located in the cam chest. When you restart the engine, this area will again fill itself to the proper level.

Need to locate engine oil drain plug so i can replace the oil

I am referring to the drain pan on the Harley Davidson Twin cam 88 engine.

The engine oil drain hex bolt is located on the right side of the motorcycle (as you are seated on it) and is removed/installed horizontally.

Transmission oil drain hex bolt is located on the left side of the motorcycle (as you are seated on it) and is removed/installed vertically.

How do you change the motor oil on a 2001 FLSTFI

In my first attempt to change my engine oil, I drained oil from bottom of my 2001 Fatboy, from the plug on the right side towards the front of the engine, just below the Twin Cam Cover and floor board (see attached picture) look at dark spot where plug is located, only approx 4 oz drained out, where is this from? How to I refill that oil?
P.S. I did find the right one mounted on the right side towards the rear of the engine, so oil is now changed. _1035.jpg
