Remove shroud around radiator with metric Allen. I think there are five machine screws that hold it. Once removed you can take cap off cold bike to check level.

You have to remove the cover on the lower left side of the motorcycle, then you can observe the coolant level indicator. See the link below.

SOURCE: check radiator fluid suzuki c90

Good news! You will never have to check the coolant in your C90 because there isn't any coolant required. Just make sure you check your oil level once a month.

How do I check the coolant level in my Intruder/Volusia 2003

There is an overflow bottle on the left side down low. There is a **** in the chrome side cover that you can shine a flashlight in and see the level in the bottle. However, if you suspect that your bike is running too hot, you will have to take off the gas tank to actually check the radiator filler level.

How do you check the water level in a 2001 suzuki volusia 800?

peterbiltcoh,

If you haven't gotten an answer yet, here's how to check the coolant level in your '01 Volusia. The coolant tank is located on the bottom left side of the engine. There is a sight slot cut in the cover that will allow you to view the level. I preferr to take the cover off (3 screws) to make sure I'm seeing the marks on the coolant tank and to check the color of the coolant. It's an easy check even with taking the covers off (about 15 minutes). If the coolant is low, or discolored, you can make the necessary adjustments.
