SOURCE: 2008 HONDA cbr 125 Popping out of 5th Gear

Only three things would cause the problem. 1) a slightly beny shift fork, 2) a shift index wheel loose, 3) the foot shift lever needs to be adjusted.

The most likely source is the shift lever needing to be lower. Once you are in 5th gear you move your foot to the top iof the pedal in preparation for a downshift. At high speed your entire body is leaning forward FOOT INCLUDED. Chances are that enough pressure is on the pedal to move the slider gear out of position and thus out of 5th gear.

I hope I am right in the solution. Best wishes.

SOURCE: honda keeps stalling

You probably know this but... when you put it into gear you don't have your kickstand down do you. There is an automatic shutoff on the kickstand.

SOURCE: FI light comes on. Honda CBR 600

FL stands for Fuel Injecton. Your fuel injection sensors have found a problem and the onboard computer chip is telling you. You must have a dealer read the computer code to find out what the problem is.

I have tried to start my CBR 600 F up,its turning over but not firing up, but it has been stood for a year & I've just put a new battery on it,what do I do next

Have the carburetors or throttle bodies & injectors cleaned, clean fuel lines replace all fuel, change oil to be safe.

Bike jumps and stalls when put into gear

Sounds like your clutch is partially engaged.
You may be able to adjust the screw near the lever to tighten the cable (take out the slack) and allow the clutch to disengage when you pull the lever.
If that does't work, the clutch plates may be dry or seized?

How many rpms should i go on my honda cbr 600

hi,i dont know a lot about this particular bike, but,as with any high revving sports bike you will need to keep the revs up before changing gear,an 883 sportster has a lot more torque than your bike and you can "short shift "them and let the torque do the work, however on a cbr i think you will need more rpm before you shift as they dont have the torque of your old harley,a friend of mine has an r6 yamaha, that thing revs out to nearly 17000 rpm he doesnt change untill about 9 or 10000 rpm, from memory your bike should be capable of nearly 60mph in first gear..hope this helps...cheers

I was wandering if I need to replace my clutch.

Have you tried adjusting your clutch cable? If the clutch was bad you would rev the engine in gear but the bike would not speed up as it should because the clutch was slipping. But if your cable is out of adjustment pulling the lever may not be disengaging the clutch. You should find the adjustment at the clutch lever, should be a larger locknut and a smaller adjusting screw. You want about 1/2" of freeplay in the lever before it starts disengaging the clutch.

Did it stall with a big **** like you didn't pull in the lever or did it just die? If it died, maybe the sidestand switch is faulting, killing the engine because it thinks your kickstand is still down.
