I was riding my bike and i lost all lights horn and starter the only lights that work are my turn signals and the lil light for them on the speedo i put a new fuse in at the road side and it blew i had to ride home with no lights and im not sure what else it could be it was all working fine before the lights went could it be a lose wire or a burnt out 1 im not sure but i have only just got the bike and have no idear where to start its a late 2003 honda xr 125L any help would be great Thankyou
Me id start by looking real close at the wires to and from the head and tail lamps and handle switches , then id go farther at looking inside the head and tail lamp housings for say water or a rusty or damaged wire , finnaly arriving at looking at the battery voltage with a voltmeter when im reving engine this shouldn't go over say 12.8 volts if it does your voltage regulator is defective and is damaging all your bulbs
SOURCE: push starter button and no start
Hello,
Evansville! Nice part of the World.
Bud's Harley Shop still there?
O.k. daft thing is the off run switch on the handlebars turned to off?
Failing this will the bike start and run off bumping (Push start).
If it does take a look at the battery (Maybe Dead cell/s) or Starter solenoid wire/fuse.
Solenoid is located near the battery it is the cylindrical item with the main pos+ wire from battery going to it.
Good Luck! could do with a new Bud's Harley 'T' shirt as mines worn out.

SOURCE: Speedo, turn signals, brake lights, horn stopped working. All else is fine.
Gap your plugs to 38 thou. Check all your bulbs (one burned out will affect the rest) Take a look at all your fuses and make sure they are all ok. Otherwise you are probably looking at a wiring short which will require trouble shooting of the elctrical system. Buy your self a service manual for your bike, this will help you a lot.
SOURCE: accessory fuse keeps blowing, headlight not working
I know this sounds aomewhat general, however please give the following some thought:
Check your relays, if you have an aftermarket horn you may have a different relay. To troubleshoot unplug your headlight, unplug your horn, etc.. Turn your ignition switch to accessory only. See if the fuse pops. If it does unplug whatever added accessories you may have still have plugged in. Once you can get the fuse to stop popping, turn the ignition switch to on. Then one at a time plug you accessory, headlight, etc. back in. When you find what pops the fuse, unplug that item, start plugging in the other items, if the fuse has not popped you have potentially isolated the circuit causing the issue. Now check the wiring for loose connections, bad ground, and CHECK the relay if that item has one. Hope this helps,
JP
