Should be a 10mm or 12mm headed bolt in the shifter, remove it and pull the shifter off, push the new one on reinstall the bolt.

maybe you are getting to much air.go down on air screw or jets

hi there it sounds like it could be you regulator that is overcharching and blowing the fuse because of the heat in it have a feel of it when it is running and see how hot it gets . hope this helps

If fuse was burned, the problem ought to be in the circuit in which the fuse is situated. That is your staring point for tracing back to the fault, I would think. You have eliminated the starter system so focus on the ignition system.

If its like the xvs650, sometime the speedo end of the cable has a habbit of dropping off, lift the speedo housing and have a look. I had it happen just I got to a speed camera which was funny in the least.

Depends where it is cracked at, but for the most part the head can be welded with the right rod

Check your grounding connection on the coil. If that isn't grounded properly you won't get a spark. If that is ok, check the coil for resistance -.it might have been a bad part. Just because its new doesn't mean its 100% reliable. You want little to no resistance through the coil (positive to negative terminal) and also a very high resistance from the coil output to negative terminal.

Look @ your sight glass. Left of engine lower bottom of casing. If too much oil is used a small amount of smoke may appear. LOL
