I had a local mechanic look at my teamguys 150cc
If a motor is said to be running lean, that means there is not enough fuel in the air/fuel mix going into the combustion chamber. The result is poor combustion and poor engine output. The fix it to add more fuel to the mix or to reduce the amount of air (which would have a similar effect on the air/fuel mix). But, you don't want to reduce the amount of the air, what you really want is more fuel. You add more fuel by adjusting the carb. Some carbs are easy to adjust, others hard, still another group of carbs are not adjustable.
On the other hand, this condition may be caused by carb deposits. You can try a gas additive to clean your carb. Follow the instructions on the bottle carefully. You may want to check with the counterman (woman) at your motorcycle shop to get a recommendation.
Generally speaking, there are two or more adjustments on a carb. Unless you are skilled at this process, it is best to leave it to a mechanic with both the skill and the equipment to make the adjustment.
You did ID your ride somewhat, but you didnt say if it was two or four cycle or one or two cylinder. It gets real complicated real quick if it is 2 cycle because you add the variable of the mix, what it is suppose to be and how it is done (by you or automatically) and two cylender usually means two carbs.
Aside from the trouble you describe, there is another possible down side and that is your engine may not run at the proper temperature because of this fuel inbalance which may cause additional damage, typically to the top end of the engine.
My suggestion is to get a professional tune up. Tell the mechanic what you suspect and what you have experienced and let him or her bring your machine back as close as possible to factory specifications.
I hope you found some value in this generic reply to your question posted at Fixya.com

What oil fits best my bike?
Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. 10w40 is what goes in the engine. I am not familiar with the Cagiva brand motorcycle, but you probably have an oil dipstick on the end of the oil filler cover. Fill the gearbox until the oil is mid-point in the indicated range, probably 3 quarts will do.
Change the oil filter also, (assuming the bike has one). Recheck oil level after running the engine for a minute. This allows the oil filter to fill up. Often the oil capacity is shown right next to the oil filler hole. If there is no dipstick and no oil capacity information at the filler hole then best to contact the dealer and ask.
Please rate this answer. Thanks Octavia! < nice name

Brake dust removal
long-armed brush is usually the best way scrub off brake dust and dirt. Apply a wheel cleaner first and let it settle before scrubbing it off. Chrome wheels will require specific cleaners so be aware of your wheel's finish before purchasing a cleaner.
Don't use tire dressing products as their glossy finishes can compromise grip,,
I Have 2013 350 raptor wont start. Replaced ignition coil and ici box and spark plug.. No spark. Still wont turn over
You have written some conflicting information. How can you know that your engine has no spark if it will not turn over? No problem, please write back and elaborate on its issue, symptoms, engine codes and things you have checked and tested so far. At this point I would start looking around. Inspect the battery and power distribution box. Check that the battery connections are clean and tight. Check that the ground cable, going to the body panel is clean and tight. Check all the fuses for damage (over heating or corrosion) and the same for the relays. Is the antitheft system working (does it recognize your ignition key?)? When you turn the ignition hey to the RUN position. Does the gauge cluster respond like it always does? Do you see the lights come on and go out and can you read the odometer mileage? Please write back and let me know. Good Luck.

How do you set up timing on a cagiva river 600
Remove the side cover so you can have access to the stator. Then you will be looking for a notch on the inner case. Once you locate the notch you will line up the stator ( which also has a little line or notch on it ) with that notch.

Dies when put in gear
Check the kickstand interlock switch. As deemed mandatory by the DOT.. all street legal motorcycles come with a switch in the kickstand pivot area that detects whether or not it is in the upright (or down) position. This is supposed to prevent riders from taking off with the kickstand down, which can ruin your day when the first left hander comes up- This switch will essentially shutdown the electrics to the engine once you attempt to engage first gear (in the down position)...These switches are fairly reliable but can fail. To test it, take a small jumper wire and connect the two wires (going to the switch) together.
