hi there it sounds like the dogs on the first gear are damaged and need to be straight cut or just replace the gear ,this is a pretty big job so a dealer might be the best place to take it cheers pete

Possibly Washed The Rings Running With No Oil Mix. If Compression Is Less Than 80 P.S.I. It Will Not Run. The Mix Should Be 24 To 1.( 3.5 Ounces Of Oil To 1 Gal. Of Fuel). Hope Its Not Too Late .

25-1 is the standard ratio for 2 stroke bikes

It is GasGas MC 250 trasmition. I have the same in EC engine.

Need to remove and clean carb, there will be a varnish residue from the old fuel that wont disolve just by adding new fuel

TAKE THE THROTTLE TUBES OFF AND CLEAN IT OUT THEN GRAB THE CABLE POINT IT UPWARDS AND SPRAY WD40 IN CABLE AND LET IT RUN DOWN INSIDE THEN GREASE THE THROTTLE SYSTEM AND TRY AGAIN ITS NORMALLY THIS GET BACK TO ME IF NO DIFFERENCE

hi mate over filling will cause oil to leak out off air breather near the filler plug it will say something like 700cc = 700 ml im not sure if that will show on your bike but on all the bikes i have worked on have had this or measure the amount you take out

If no dipstick on filler plug, then there should be a small plug on side of transmission case that lets oil run out when full.

depending on the bike it will be located in a diffrent spot but the majority of crank cases will be found slighty inside in the bike under where your left foot sits when rideing its between the engine and your leg.

try adjusting the idle screw on the carb.

I'm assuming it is carburated. Sounds like the float needle (seal) is not sealing. It will dry out when the bike sits up for a while. You should replace it or soak it in oil until it becomes pliable again.

From what I have read about them, its one of the things that has be done when it is shipped to you, from basic engine knowledge, it should be a hose running from the tank to the carberator. which should be under the tank. I havent got one of these bikes yet, hoping to by income tax refund time. and still trying to find a reputable dealer to order one from, if you dont mind me asking where did you get yours from? email me back please at [email protected]

You need to change the power pack to cool start and hot start the engine.

OK just using logic, no specialist knowledge but... If temperature fluctuates, then it sounds more like a thermostat/heat control problem. If it CAN get hot then doubtless there is gas available... It's probably something to do with the heat controller unit - can you get it checked? have you looked inside the unit to see if there is any obvious issues?

Kerry, Check for vacuum leaks, check the fuel line is not old and collapsing (they can look good on the outside and inner collapsed), if it ha a vented cap make sure it is not plugged.Were the floats set correctly or could be sticking. There still is a chance dirt has been re introduced into jets to. Good luck.

Is the machine a two stroke? Because if it is a blocked exhaust (full of carbon deposits) will cause exactly this symptom. The best way to clean it is to stand it on its end and fill it with oven cleaner and leave it for a day. In the old days it was just a case of heating the exhaust with a blow lamp and tapping the pipe gently to loosen the deposits

The best way to remove the old ignition lock is to remove the top yolk because most likely the lock will be FASTENED WITH SECURITY BOLTS. various videos on youtube might help

You would not fix a wiring diagram in most circumstances so what is your question really about. If you want wiring diagram you will likley only get one from the manufacturer in a service manual or possibly online.
