2009 Yamaha Raider 1850. What is the problem on a Yamaha Raider if it gets to much amps to the battery?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Cars to correct category. Resting volts on the battery should be 12.4. This rises to 13.2 volts when charging. Amps (current) is stored in the battery for starting. Typical amperage to the battery for charging would be 2 amps to 6 amps depending on battery state. The Regulator should monitor that. They do have a history of electrical issues and of the batteries heating up. https://www.google.com/search?q=2009+yamaha+raider+electrical+problems More information and rectifier testing. https://www.google.com/search?q=2009+yamaha+raider+too+many+amps ..

What is the recommended tire

This pressure can be determined from the MAX listing on the tire. If MAX is 44 psi, I suggest 34 to 36 lbs.
If your loads are heavier, go to the heavy side. Higher pressures help steering, lower pressures tend to stabilize the ride.

Why does my engine back fires sometimes on constant throttle and chek engine light is on?

It's time to run diagnostics. I presume that bike supports OBDII... get codes - they'll tell us what's wrong. SOUNDS like a crank position sensor, though.

It could be out of time, but I woulld seriously doubt it unless you have been in there monkeying around. It's not something that changes by itself.

Most likely, you have either an exhaust leak. Have you made any changes to the exhaust lately?

My motor will start but

If old gas sat in the carb. for more than a month it starts to dry up. As it drys up it leaves behind a varnish like film that stops up some very small ports and pin holes inside a motorcycle carburetor. It is also very hard to get out. You can try this. Use a product called Seafoam, get as much gas out of the carb.s as you can. use a turkey baster and force the seafoam into your carb. Take the fuel line loose from the fuel tank and force it into the carb(s). Let that set for say 1 or 2 days. then hook up the fueltank with a mix of good gas and seafoam, (not a lot but enough to start it up. Move the cycle outside as the seafoam will make a lot of smoke if it does start up. If that does not clear up the problem you may have to pull the carb. and remove the blows to clean the inside, I know you said you have already done this but you may have to do it again, and pay attention to very small holes in the up tube . If you have to do that do not DO NOT MESS with any adjustment screws. Just take the carb. bowl off. Do not mix up any internal parts. It is best to work on a large sheet so if you drop a small part you can find it, you do not want to be missing some tiny spring or screw. Hope this Helps Fix Ya Up..

I have a yamaha ysr50

Carbon builds up on the top of the piston and the head. Enough carbon has built up to allow a hot spot on the surface of either the head or piston. The red hot ember is causing the fuel mix to pre-ignite and that's what causes the engine to run wild. Just remove the cylinder head and de-carbon the top of the piston and the head. Install a new stock spark plug, NGK brand, B8HS. Check the exhaust port and remove any major carbon build up that may be making the port smaller than the original opening. Reset the idle and air screws to one and one half turns open from a closed position. Now adjust the idle as needed. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Leaking fuel out of the

The float needle in the carb is either worn or sticking open allowing fuel to keep pouring into the float chamber. The pipe is an overflow. Sometimes a simple tap with a screwdriver can loosen a piece of dirt from the needle and it will work again. If not, take the carb off, remove the float bowl, pull the retaining pin and take out the float itself. The needle will then come out. Check the top tapered edge for signs of wear and if you find any then replace it with a new one. If not then spray the needle "socket" with carb cleaner, fit an in-line fuel filter and reassemble. Should now be operational again.

The bike has no spark

i would check the coil packs a old school way to do that is to take the the spark plug wire off the spark plug put a screw driver in it with any thing but a metal handle in it and then touch the frame of the bike with the screw driver still in the spark plug wire and try to start it . if there is a spark the coil is good and to test the spark plug simply take the spark plug out the cylinder head connect it to the spark pug wire and trie to start it if see a spark comeing from the spark plug is also good
