If the clutch is engaging but the motor is dying its probably a dirty carb jet, float or fuel starvation.

Remove the carb, then the float bowl at the bottom of the carb then clean the carb with spray carb cleaner. Spray into each and every drill hole and jet you can find. I think you have gone as far as you can with what you have. A damn clever job by the way. The issues you run into with the 2 ring vs. 3 ring piston on your bike is piston slap as the skirt length changes with a 2 ring setup.

Go towards Macon on I-16, take 80 across to Columbus, Take Alabama 280 to B'ham, go to Gadsden from B'ham. 4 lane most of the way with parts of 280 not. Watch for spped traps!!

All Jawa's have the same timing requirements.
