Hi Elkafidi, It would seem that the braking efficiency of your vehicle is impaired by one of the braking systems in the vehicle being contaminated with air. This could be due to leakage from one of the brake wheel cylinders or an external or internal leakage from the master cylinder. DO NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE! Have the defect attended to! You will be able to see where the leakage is, by looking for stains of brake fluid. Look under the car at each wheel in turn and observe which of the wheels seems wet (on the inside). If there is no sign on the wheels, the leakage will be under the bonnet (hood). The master cylinder is mounted onto the servo brake vacuum unit. look for brake fluid stains there. The defect could also be caused by a leaking or broken flexible or solid brake pipe. This defect must be attended to urgently! Again I reiterate, do not drive the vehicle! Regards Johngee10

SOUNDS LIKE THE POWER UNIT OR MASTER CYLINDER FOR BRAKES HAS GONE BAD. NO MENTION OF PULLING OR GRINDING BUT YOU COULD NEED BRAKE FLUID. I'D CHECK THAT FIRST AND CHECK FOR LEAKS. HOPE THAT HELPS..

Electronic stability control & abs & brake assist warning indicator lights are coming on after an accident. How serious are they?

You have damage to the front area brake system. It could be very serious but if car stops OK most likely not that serious you just won't have abs or traction control. The damage is most likely a speed sensor or something similar. I said it could be serious that is only worst case.
Here is a breakdown of what lights mean
ABS keeps your breaks from locking up
BREAK ASSIST helps your breaks
Traction control if you one wheels spin more than others system adjust wheel spiN

Why does warning breaking fault light keep flashing up

Not an expert in this field but have you checked the brake fluid level in the power hydraulics near your Master cylinder power booster under the bonnet. If it is leaking you will notice that you are constantly topping it up . If this is the case then you need to get the braking system checked for leaks or a blown master cylinder before you find you can't stop one day in the future. Also check the vacuum tubing that goes to the master cylinder Booster for vacuum leaks.
If it was me I would get a brake expert to check your braking system as brakes are something that you really need to work when you find you need to stop in a hurry.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
Definitely an abs sensor issue. As a first course of action please disconnect the positive battery connector and let it sit for atleast 5mins. then reconnect it again. The system may need to be resetted to get rid of the problem.

If it still fails then please remove the abs sensor on the brakes and clean it. This can do the trick too.

Hope this helps and thank you for using Fixya! Have a good one!

Rear brakes lockup when you touch the pedal

there is a brake regulator on modern systems which controls the power between the front and the back breaks this maybe defective

when a car breaks most of the breaking force is placed on the front breaks as that is where most of the energy is heading so the car sinks down. if the same amount of breaking force is placed on the back wheels as they rise they have less friction as the weight is forward so they will lock up.
the device is designed to maintain more force to the front, if it fails the system will apply even force to all wheels.

recommend cosulting a certifed garage or local dealership about this problem.
Warning; continual driving with defctive breaks is illegal and may result in injury or loss.

Brakes

Most likely your vacumn power brake booster has failed. It is not rebuildable. You will need to buy a new one.
