My 1995 toyota camry le key ignition is lock. I just got home at around 4 pm and after 2 hours. I turn the ignition on, but the ignition won't let me turn. I try turning the key hard to the ACC but it didn't let me, the steering wheel can still move, the car itself is in park, the brake pad feel like its lock, and I try jiggling the wheel while turning the ignition. Nothing work. Can anyone help with this problem?

You are using terms that don't really exist. Did you mean the ignition lock cylinder?

If so, you need to have the key reprogrammed for the anti-theft immobilizer.

try turning the key on the boot lock past the lock possition as my old mr2 t bar used to have a lock like this so you could dead lock your boot when the roof was left off.?.

IGNITION KEY WILL NOT RELEASE

It can be faulty ignition lock cylinder. I suggest to wiggle the steering wheel a bit and see if the key gets released out. If that is not helping then first turn steering wheel to right and try removing the key, or next turn steering wheel to left and see if you can remove the key.

Spray wd-40 in the ignition key hole and let it remain there for few minutes, after that once again try to remove the key and see if that helps.

But if that is not helping then ignition lock cylinder has to be removed out and key has to be manually removed.

Has the key been damaged? You should make sure that the vehicle is in properly engaged in park if it's an automatic.

1. Open trunk
2. Place latch in lock position
3. Pull inside trunk release to see what isn't moving
4. If trunk key won't turn, the key may be worn out and need to be replaced

I have had this problem. There could be a few reasons. ONE. The key itself is worn out...might be time for a replacement. Its amazing how fast that actually happens... TWO my brother who also has the same 95 camry as i do [in another color] had too much weight on his key chain [with all his other keys and twrinkets] for so long that it caused the ignition switch inside to pull down and not line up correctly inside. Which caused the key to only turn partway in the ignition and stop before the car could actually turn on. [He had to replace that part] I hope this has helped.

is it correct key? key and ignition barrel could be worn wiggle key around in ignition while turning? gently but fast wiggling.try lube in key slot also.
