One fuse box is located in the upper part of the left (drivers side) kick panel, under the left end of the instrument panel. The other is in the engine compartment behind the battery.

My 2008 Subaru Tribeca pull a fuse. The navigation & radio, interior lights near the top of the windshield and lights on the temperture control knobs are out and I was told it is the "backup fuse"
