1997 Suzuki Sidekick 1.8 engine serpentine belt replacement diagram Where can I get this?

You should loosen the component's pivot and adjusting bolts until it can be reposition. And then try to push the components toward the engine to release the belt tension and the belt can be removed. afterthat you can you can replace your belt.

2.0 litre engine?? thought they were only built with a 1.6 zetec engine

Install the timing belt on the sprockets so that there is no slack in the drive side of the belt (1), then install the tensioning assembly...

Each car has a differetnt belt routing and different method of tensioning the serp.belt....best way to know if it has a spring loaded tensioner,or a slide tensioner is to get a manual specific to your vehicle....I go to gthe local library and look at the Haynes or Chiltons manual specific to your sikekick...otherwise buy a manual for your car...you will end up needing it again and again ...good luck...Lee

There is a diagram under the hood, it is either near the belt or next to the federal emissions sticker, also check the underside of the hood.
