There is a battery fuse that you could have blown. It will be in the fuse box under the hood. If that fuse is good, then your battery has been fried.

Good Luck!

Ford focus 1.8tdci 2004 appears to have not enough battery tp start. I have tried to jump, charge and changed the alternator. Help please I need the car urgently

The fastest way to jump it is using another car. Connect the positive and negative on the running car, then positive to Positive, negative to negatice on the dead cars battery. Then try to start it. It should start right away. Remove the jumper cables right after it starts. Now if the batery doesnt hold a charge after running it for over 30 minutes then when you havr time, takr the battery out and test it at a auto parts shop. Its normally free to test it. If you get a new battery and after a week it dies again then its probably the alternator.

2005 nissan murano jump started witnow it will only idle but will not accelerateh jumper cables reversed

NOT SURE WHAT YOU SAYING ? WHEN GETTING JUMP STARTED, THE BATTERY FROM THE GOOD VEHICLE MUST PLACE JUMPER CABLES ON BATTERY TERMINALS, THE CAR BEING JUMPED, YOURS, THE (+) TERMINAL IS JUMPED FROM GOOD BATTERY, THEN THE (-) JUMPER CABLE FROM GOOD BATTERY GETS CLAMPED TO YOUR CARS FRAME OR ENGINE BLOCK, NOT YOUR DEAD BATERY !!!!!!! YOU MAY HAVE SHORTED SOMETHING OUT, MAYBE EVEN YOUR COMPUTER CHIP IN THE ECM ! YOU NEED A MASTER TECH TO HELP YOU ON THIS ONE, I WOULD'NT TOUCH THIS WITH A TEN FOOT POLE ! SORRY, I COULD BE WRONG, BUT, NOT AN EASY ISSUE OVER THE NET !!!!!!

Engine won't start, just clicks, wouldn't start even after trying to jump start

battery is dead try to pair of jumper cables connected the same way as a single jumper cable this increases the cross sectional area of the wire causing more current flow

2004 altima it was cross jumped by mistake and made a popping noise..... my car is compltely dead.. i bought a new batery and still dead

Look at the master fuse panel in the engine bay. Pull the Relay/Fuse cover from the box and look to see what blew.

In the future - if you MUST give someone a jump, make sure your car is OFF when hooking up the cables. If there was no huge arcing - then start your car and let it charge the other vehicle for a few minutes or more before trying to start it.

Let's hope you did not blow your ECU.

It wont crank like not getting power

ok sounds like you have a dead battery
1) if turns but slowly:

posible causes:
1.1) old dead batery/
or underchaged battery >check altenator in this case

did you leave your headlights turnt on and drained the battery of its charge?if so get a jump start and then run the car for 30-45 mins to rechagre the battery

if you have at your disposal anothere batery that you know has a good charge
try starting your car with that batery(not using jumper cables) hook it up!
if the slugish turn over is still there

1.2) check your wire conections for corision this means completly disconecting 1 lead at a time (only on one end of that lead)and cleaning them with a wire brush or some sand paper.
(on the battery and the starter also the ground strap conection to the frame.)

2) WONT TURN OVER AT ALL:
posible causes:
2.0) dead battery >try charging it>get a jump start
2.1) blown turnkey igntion fuse
2.2) blow fuse for main har nes wires
2.3) bad starter
2.4) corosion on wire conection (most often the batery terminals)
2.5) starter replaced and hooked up incorectly.

2.6) alram system preventing the turnkey igntion system from getting power

you can pop the trunk by oppening the hood and connecting a battery charger or jumper cable to the jump starting post and then opperting trunk button
or fold bown the back seat and crawl through trunk and pull the release handle at the trunk latch
