listen to the alternator as well. an alternator can make alot of noise if the bearings are gone.

head of and get valve guides modified as per holden info (scrapper counter sunk guides)
Under the rear passenger seat, you will find a plastic hatch, it is in the fuel pump. Not serviceable item. I did take my pump apart and clean the fine filter. The only way to change the filter is to get a new fuel pump.
