Hello and welcome to FixYa!
When you are hitting the rail road tracks, the connectors on the throttle body may have been moving. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you secure the connectors, be sure that they are properly inserted to lock.
You may need to secure the air cleaner too, make sure that it's not moving. Be sure that there's nothing hitting the wirings as well that can cause the car's sensor to move. These are common issues when the sensor connectors are being moved.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

2006 dodge RAM 1500 with a hemi....I have a light with two vertical red lines and a lightning bolt between them...truck won't so anything...a few times it tried to start now nothing

I think this means your electronic throttle control (ETC) has a problem. The ETC takes the signal from your accelerator pedal to control the throttle plate in the throttle body. See this link:

I had the same problem with my, 03, hemi. I did not wait 15 min. turn off and back on was all that was needed to reset, "red flashing light lower right hand ". though another 8 or 9 on off's, Engin Light also goes off, untill next time. All i did was pulled off my Air Intake box and hose, so i could get to butterfly on throttle bodie, sprayed carb cleaner in there. and it was very dirty. after put back togather, give it a few.... mine did not start right up, when it did idle real ruff even died few times...Once the computer re adjusted ran like it did when i bought it....that was 2 weeks ago, still no eng light, no flashing red ones either.

2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi 4x4 4 door 90k miles

Take throttle body off, clean Throttle Body with Carburator cleaner. I had same problem and its the ethynol in fuel that creates a build up in the throttle body which creates this problem. I did what a friend of mine said to do (service manager at Dodge Dealership) it hasnt happened again.

Electronic Throttle Control light

I took my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi to a mechanic that works from a garage at his home, recommended by a friend of mine. He removed and cleaned the throttle body and sensor(s?), then reinstalled them, and then disconnected both battery cables and held them together for 2 minutes so that the engine controller could reboot with the factory default settings, then reconnected them. I had bought a can of throttle body cleaner on my way over to his house for about $3.00. He charged me $40.00 for the job. This was done mid-February, about 10 weeks and 2500 miles ago. So far, the problem Has Not happened again, the truck has been running great!
