There is no reset button, unless you have an after market alarm on the truck. Try this, close and lock everything including the hood, lock the doors
with the driver side power door lock button. Then, unlock the driver
side door, wait 30 seconds and then open the door. This should reset the
factory alarm system. Use the lock button on the door to lock it and then close the door.
You have waited the 30 seconds before opening the door; it is vital that you wait so the alarm can reset itself.
If this is not the factory alarm system (aftermark alarm), try looking under the dash
for a small black box with in line fuses in it. These are fuses in the
wires and not in the fuse box itself. If you find this, remove one or
more of the fuses and it should stop it from going off. Aftermarket means it was installed after the truck was built. If you can
find the control unit and unplug it,that would be best. Should be a box
that is held in under the dash with ties and not bolted securely. Look
under the dash, it might not be by the fuse box, but it will not be
bolted to anything. It is likely a small black box maybe 3"x4" in size. Usually they tie them up under the dash near the steering column.
Also, sometimes, in the owners manual have the right procedure at factory theft system disarm check it.
