Put the selector in nuetral, and try to start it, if this doesnt wrork move the selector closer to drive and try again, it sound like your shift linkage/ cable is out of adjustment

Try rocking the car back and forth while trying to shift out of park.
Some cars need the brake pedal pressed to shift as well...
Had a caravan once and if it was placed in park and it rolled slightly, it would put pressure on the trans...locking it up to where I couldn't shift out of park.
It looks like you still have an electrical problem. I rarely suggest changing the coil, but this could be the problem. I would also check the wire to the coil. I know you replaced it, but is it fully seated into the coil.
I have had it happen to me many times. I thought it was seated into the coil and I found out it was not.
