You will need to have the coils checked, a quick test would be to swap coils and see if the misfire moves to another cylinder and if that happens then that would tell you that the coil is bad, for example a coil runs two cylinder if you take the # 3 coil and swap it with another one and then scan the codes and see if the misfire changes to the cylinder you swap it to then coil is the problem for the misfiring. when changing coils if this has no change then make sure to have the fuel injectors cleaned, this is the other most common reason for misfires, dirty injectors are very common on these engines. the converter problem is something else, you will need to replace the converter solenoid and check the wiring inside trant going to solenoid, you will see the wiring harness, check it for broken wires, if you replace solenoid and wiring is good then you will have converter problems and may need a trany shop to look at it but most common reason for this code is the solenoid . good day

2004 pontaic grand prix white smoke coming fro m exhast

Quit driving it. You have blown a intake manifold gasket or a head gasket. 3.4 engines are known for blowing intake gaskets. Check your oil, make sure it is not exessive or milky in color. White smoke is caused from water/coolant entering the cylinder.

1998 pontiac grand prix gt service engine soon light just came on. Auto Zone did a test and came back with a code. It said ''Fuel Air Metering P1133''. Can you tell me what this is?

P1133 HO2S Insufficient Switching Sensor 1

THIS IS THE O2 SENSOR CLOSEST TO THE ENGINE AND BEFORE THE CONVERTER.

AN EXHAUST LEAK OR A BAD SENSOR COULD BE THE PROBLEM.

CHECK THE O2 SENSOR WIRING FOR DAMAGE, CORROSION, ETC.

1998 pontiac grand am misfire cyl 4

I'm a bit confused concerning your spark plug wires as the standard 2.2 engine does not have them, so my suggestion is based on the 2.2 engine as the 4 cylinder you state you have.
If the secondary electrical has been replaced, I would suggest inspecting the fuel injectors for operation.
The easiest way to test the operation of the fuel injectors is to listen for a clicking sound coming from the injectors while the engine is running. This is accomplished using a mechanic's stethoscope, or a long screwdriver. Place the end of the stethoscope or the screwdriver (tip end, not handle) onto the body of the injector. Place the ear pieces of the stethoscope in your ears, or if using a screwdriver, place your ear on top of the handle. An audible clicking noise should be heard; this is the solenoid operating. If the injector makes this noise, the injector driver circuit and computer are operating as designed. Continue testing all the injectors this way.
If all appear to be functioning we can move on to the next suggestion.
Let me know.
Regards.
