My 2.0 VW Golf V TDI (2008) keeps cutting out when driving & idling. It then won't restart for a couple of minutes (no lights on the dash) but radio/heating fan still work. Any suggestions?

If the vehicle runs smoothly idling (at least 30 mins in Park) I would head directly to the ignition switch, then battery wiring harness.

A sencer has gone out...OK...

Must be a broken cat converter. The platinum honeycomb core is broken into several pieces and clogging the exhaust pipe preventing you to go more than 45 mph. Try hitting it with a rubber mallet and listen if any pieces rattling inside. If it sounds like pebbles inside, it's time to replace it.

check door switches remove 1 at a time and unplug it once you find the bad switch lights will go out
un plug 1 at a time

check the turbo hoses, they are renound for dry cracking, very hard to see at first glance

when the glow plug light keeps flashing.Thats telling you that you have a fault with one of the sensors.Take it to a garage and get it checked out with a diagnostic scan.

i would check the servo make sure that its connected .abs fault would give you red abs warning light is this showing in your dash?

Change the fuel filter a gain you may just got dirty or bad fuel. Also check and replace the air filter TDI need a lot of air.
