If you mean the rear spindle castle nut, tighten until wheel will not turn, then back off until it spins freely. The rear wheel hub retainer is 188-254 ft lbs or 255-345 Nm.

Assuming rear, on the brake drum:

Hub Removal
  1. If equipped, remove the brake drum (1126) ; refer to Section 206-02 . If equipped, remove the rear disc brake rotor (2C026) ; refer to Section 206-04 .
  1. Remove the wheel hub.
    1. Unstake the rear axle wheel hub retainer.
    1. Remove the rear axle wheel hub retainer and discard.
    1. Remove the wheel hub (1104).

hi the cylinderhead torque settings are
STAGE 1, 30Nm (22l bf ft)
STAGE 2, 50Nm ( 337 lb ft ),
STAGE 3, angle tighten another 90 degrees,
STAGE 4 angle tighten another 90 degrees

Rear wheel bearings keep going after only a short period of use.

When you install the bearing are you replacing the complete hub? The torque spec for this is 130-174 ft.lbs. Also are the rims and tires of stock size?
