I own a 95 c220, & it had the same problem, it would just quit running while I was driving it, almost as if it was running out of gas, or stalling. The MB dealer said that there was no code, & that there was nothing they could do. So I found a mechanic in germany online that knew what it was. He said to change the Fuel Relay, if you look in your car manual, under relays & fuses, it should show you where its located. Mine was in the trunk on the right side of the spare tire, and it was Green. It was about 50 dollars from the dealer & they had to order it. The mechanic also told me, to be safe, to also change the Main Engine Relay, which in my car was located on the passenger side, under the hood, close to the windshield. It was white with a clear top. It was about 75 dollars from the dealer, and it showed in my manual where it was located, so I was able to undo it myself. Its simple you just unplug em, & plug in the new ones. And I've never had a problem since, & changed em about 8 years ago, it might be worth looking into. If your Fuel relay is bad and its malfunctioning, it will stop gas from going to the engine, making it quit running. Hope this helps

1997 Trans am Cuts off then restarts shut down later

I have experienced a car with a heat sensitive crankshaft sensor so I would opt for that as my first choice. I doubt the fuel pressure regulator would cause your problem but it could be the fuel pump or water or dirt in the fuel tank.

Car stalling out and bot starting after being driven for awhile.

mcdevito75 Here, It"s possible the ignition Module is going bad, no way to test and if so, one day the car will not start at all.----------It can also be a vapor loc, wher the fuel is evaporating before it reaches the cylinders. Best Bet, have your local shop check both these items.

Dies after running about 2 minutes

It's got all the symptoms of a leak in the fuel line. You may want to start backward at the tank and work your way all the way to the carb to find it but it would be surprising if it was something else. All the best.
