I have a 2004 Corolla S and cannot locate the second fuse box. I have had several people, including a mechanic look for it where the manual says it is, on the inside drivers side dash, but there is nothing there. Can any body help me I have no radio!!!!
Thank You! I located it tucked up behind a tan box where the diagram is circled. After a few awkward positions I was able to remove and replace the faulty fuse. I now have music again!!!!! Thank you so much!

OK... GO inside of the car driver side.
At left side of the steering on dash . you will see a lettle DRAWER.
for put coins etc. Is the only drawer at that side.
JUST OPEN IT AND REMOVE. Behind you will see the fuses.

It is a very basic, entry level Toyota Corolla and only sold in South Africa. You didn't tell us the year, but they are all here. Fuses 3,16, 18, and 25.
According to Don r : "The relays are in the fusebox under the hood. There's a fusebox on the driver's side kick panel, there's another one behind the change drawer on the left end of the dash and there's another fuse and relay box behind a panel on the passenger side below the dash. Chilton's Auto Repair manual will show you these. Look in your owner's Manual too. " According to mtran2988: "So I know this sounds very silly, but I had this problem for a while as well. What I did to fix it for a while, was open the fuse box in the car (under the steering wheel) and remount the fuse for the power lock. After that all the door's locks started working again. Like I said, i know it sounds very silly... but that's what I did and it started working. I feel like trying this might save people some hours. Mind you, I don't have very great technical knowledge of the mechanics of a car.. just a persevering DIY'er." I hope that helps!
you have two fuse boxes. one is under the hood next to the battery. the other is under the dash above the drivers left knee, this one is hard to see. You must lay on your back and look up with a flashlight to see it.
Check your fuse boxes - your drivers manual should show you where the fuse is located - there are several fuses that work with the cigarette lighter, one located inside the vehicle, left of the steering wheel, the other 2 located under the hood.
No need to pay a mechanic to do this, your owner's manual lists fuse replacements under "do it yourself maintenance" - My Toyota dealership quoted me $70+ to do this, when it cost me $5 to buy 5 fuses, now I have 4 spare.
Hope this helps.
There is a fuse box under the hood, between the battery and the left fender. The other fuse box is located under the dash right about where your left knee is when driving. The inside fuse box is about 1" x 6". You must lay on your back and look up under the dash to see it. A flashlight helps to see the fuse box. Remove cover to see fuses.
The fan fuse is #33 in the engine compartment fuse box. See pages 261 and 263 of the owners manual link below. The location of the fuse box in the engine compartment is shown on page 222. Hope this helps.
there is a fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. it is very hard to reach. it is located above your left knee when you are seated in the drivers seat. lay on your back, look up under the dash, use flashlight.
I have done that and there is no fuse box there as well as no specifications on the back of the drawer. Thanks for trying.
