2005 chevy aveo hot key problem and air conditioner

The key gets very hot to the touch especially when the air conditioner is used or maybe it's because of warmer weather. In any case I went on a long drive, 2-3 hours and it didn't heat up as much as when I drive it around town.
Also, the fan blows very stinky air after running the air conditioner

If it is smell like rubber, that means maybe the electric wire too hot and some places short. be sure to check it.

2005 Chevrolet Aveo. I need electrics diagrams please.

Question edited for clarity.

Wiring diagrams for free are only given in small blocks for parts like radio, or ignition. A service manual will give you the full wiring diagram, or you can use Google to specify an area.

Aveo 09 started idling at 800rpm on first startup after oil change, usually 1000rpm at startup

Not likely. 20W-50 is usually used in high rpm engines in warm to hot climate. By any chance is your windshield defroster on? When the defroster is blowing your air conditioner compressor is engaged which pulls the moisture out of the air so you get HOT DRY air blowing on the interior of your windshield

2004 chevy aveo when i turn ac on it runs hot and when i turn ac off it cools down

The AC puts allot of heat load on the engine so of course it will run hotter but not overheat the engine, if that happens you may have a clogged radiator.

Good battery. Turn key and jusy get one click sound and nothing else.2005 Chevy Aveo

if the ' battery is good ' then it sounds like a bad starter solenoid. you can use a volt meter and see if voltage is going thru the solenoid to the starter. ( also while using the meter at the solenoid,, make sure it is infact showing a solid 12+ volts ), something could be draining the power down in that circuit.

My 2005 Chevy Aveo turns off after travelling at high speed. As I slow down to make the exit the engine turns off.I've had this problem for a year and had two dealers look at it without success.

For all those out there that have had problems with your Chevy Aveo Stalling, inconsistent idling, hard to start, or throttle problems, Hollywood Harv has the answer for you. Try a new Valve Idling Air Cont GM part number 93744675. You only need one and it has to be install by Chevrolet so they can place in the codes to make it work properly. Toss the old one away as most likely has so much carbon build up on the part that it stuck or struggling to function properly. It worked on mine after many different attempts at other stuff! This is a sure winner! Good luck and drive safe! Hollywood Harv
