The crank sensor is located in the transmission bell housing on the lower passenger side where the trans bolts to the engine almost right above the right axle shaft. One 10 mm bolt holds the sensor in place. It's not too terribly difficult to change. This pertains to the 3.5l engine. I hope this helps! :)
