What model year and series engine ?

fan clutch . or the electric fan . relays or fan switch.

It could be a number of reasons, but start with the simple ones first. Maybe the thermostat ? , remove it from its housing and place it in a pan of cold water on the stove. Turn on the heat on a low light and see if it opens as the water gets hot. If no movement as it reaches boiling point it needs to be replaced.

Could possibly be a bad belt or the pulley wasnt tighten enough. $125 bucks for mechanic to fix it

Follow the top coolant hose to the engine block
The thermostat is inside the hosing.

Please wait unit the engine is cold before you work on it.
Have a catch pan,new thermostat /gasket/sealer and fresh coolant before starting the job.

Sounds like your thermostat is on it's way out. Do a good cooling system flush then replace thermostat.

change water pump, the seal is gone

Aux heat pump maybe failing. Its on the passenger side by the battery. Follow the hoses. Its moves water to the heater core.

Most of the time the cd changer will need to be replaced. Your only chance is to do a power reset to the cd changer. pull the fuse for 15 seconds, re-insert and see if the changer reboots correctly. The fuse chart is behind the triangular panel on the left side of the drivers side dash panel
