When trying to change from panel to floor to defrost, it will not change.. even if it is off, it is still blowing air. How to fix? How do you check and see if actuator is getting power? Took it off and can move blend door by hand and it works. Don't know if actuator is getting power or not, but it is not turning the blend door.

Some blend doors operate by cable some by vacume and some electrical. Feed google with make model and year, and state the problem. You will find the answers your looking for. Good luck.

SOURCE: Blend door not working.

The bleed door controls air temp not where it comes out, dash, floor, defroster, this is most likely a mode control switch problem, that switch is on the ac control head.

I have a 1975 k5 blazer and it blows cold air it worked fine last year but now it only blows cold air even on the defrost setting what can the problem be and how can I fix it?

A vent flap actuator probably needs to be replaced. It's what moves your vent flaps from heat to A/C or to plain "vent air" when you change settings.

The discussion in the link includes vent flap actuators. Unfortunately, they also include the infamous no low speed fan problem too.

Cannot get any air from dash vents while defrost and floor vents work fine...

Your particular actuator will be a different one than they found.
They're all a absolute pain to get at because they can be well buried in the dash. I would start looking under the dash on the passenger side, that's where most of the air control is. Cannot get any air from dash vents while defrost and floor vents work fine...

Defrost and floor heat broke

Are you saying you don't have blower at all? Defrost, floor and panel are the only three separate modes you have. If it's not blowing at all and the fuses are good, check the wiring behind the glove box. There's a two wire plug with a large red wire just about center of the glove box opening that's known for burning out. If it is you'll see the burned spot on the connector or wont be able to disconnect it.

When the button that control the air flow in my aveo 2005 is on defrost or defrost and floor combination the A/C compressor run non-stop even if the a/c button is not on. How do I fix this ??? Thank...

Its normal for the compressor to run any time the control is in defrost mode.
The compressor runs to dry the air blowing onto the windshield.
Check your owners manual for details.

Defrost blows constantly? How do i fix it?

does it blow through the defrost vent only when you switch to vent/floor or does it blow through defrost and vent/floor? is it a switch that is just electric or a manual lever that you slide? the manual type will have that problem if the diverter or the linkage behind the lever(in the dash behind the panel......may be able to access underneath) becomes broken or disconnected so that the air is diverted to defrost regardless where you move it.if you can get to it, you will see what is broken or maybe a fastenerr fell off.

Air vents and defroster

replace the vacuum mode control switch in the heater control, this is a dealer only part.

Defrost blows cold air

Sounds like you have a plenum door that is not opening when you go into defrost mode. You will have to check all your vacuum hoses and switching valves under the dash to see which one is not working. Hope this helps.
