Air Conditioner Vents Not Working

I have a 2005 Pacifica which 30,000 miles. A couple of months ago there was a loud noise when running the A/C on high like something was stuck in the intake. Now the vents in the front dash aren't working (floor and windshield vents work great as well as vents in the back).

I have a 2004 Pacifica. I have the same problem. No air flow is coming out of the dash vents. The air flow is great with the floor and rear vents. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2005 Pacifica and the A/C works great, but only blows to the rear, defrost and floor; not outof the front vents. Any ideas what may need to be replace? Like a control switch or motor?

I had the same problem. Fortunately, it was under warranty. I know that they had to replace the blower motor(s) in the dash, but I don't have the technical info.

The problem is the air conditioner vent door motors have gone out. There are several of these motors that open and close them allowing the air to move to different parts of the car. Since it is electronic, there are motors that open and close these doors. Unfortunately, these motors are not cheap to replace.

The air filter is located on the passenger side under the dash to the right when you look under the dash the best filters you can buy are k&g filter these filters are pricy the intake filter is 50 dollars the a/c filter is 40 dollars the good thing is that they are washable and you will never have to buy another filter when you use the a/c and it is only bringing in air from the outside it also allows for leaves and small particules to flow in to the a/c filter you are suppose to change a/c filter 1once amonth just like a home a/c filter

I have the same car (touring), the problem is the filter is dirty. Yes, this model has a filter on the front passenger side, very difficult to remove. Debris and even a mouse was in there when I took it to the dealer. This filter should be replaced once a year... hope this helps....

Question 2 parts-- 1--what do ball joint or wheel bearings cost to fix on a 2005 pacifica tourning with 69500 miles on it..2--same with inner or outer tie rods to fix. thank you.

It shouldn't need either with only 69k. Odds are you have a break system problem. Check that first at a competent brake shop or your dealer. Brakes are an important safty system and repair should not be delayed.

I have a loud engine noise--somewhat high pitch whine--except really loud and only after so many rpms. The noise happens when I am running my air conditioner. Ten to 15 miles after I first noticed the...

So when you turn off the air con the noise stops ..
If yes then its the bearings in the Air Con pump which is driven by the same belt and when turning the r13 coolant around the bearings being dry and worn out will start to make the noise Same as the water pump does when it goes, but yours is Air Con Pump.

Air conditioner vents only work on the floor vents.

being that it a dodge product they probably have used a vacuum based motor to switch where the air comes from. If this is the case then you must have leak somewhere. These are not easy to find they can take a lot of time or be quick it depends on the leak. to clarify does the heat or vent come out the top? is it supposed to?
