I had a hard time starting the car in the morning(cold outside). i have replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and the distributor itself, cap, and rotor. it will start in the afternoon when it is warmer. when it does start and keeps running, it will run the rest of the day. i took it to a toyota dealership repair, and they told me that the stater looked like it was replaced and the person who did it pulled the wiring harness out and bent it.. they put the wiring harness back to the way it should be. it work great the first couple of days, but today at about 3:45am while going to work it stalled on me on the freeway. i was wandering what you might think the problem is with the car? do you think the air intake sensor could have any part in this? thanks donj
I thing that the main problem turned out to be a bad ignition coil. On '93 Corollas, you can remove the ignition coil without removing the distributor. (You only need to remove the distributor cap and rotor.) you mention that u already replace couple of parts but i suggest to get the original part from Toyota spare part
