2006 JEEP WRANGLER 2 DOOR WITH 33'S SHAKES AT 45MPH. TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY SAID IT WAS A BAD TIRE. TIRES ONLY HAVE ABOUT 8000 MILES ON THEM

The problem you have is called "Death Wobble" and is well known in the Jeeping community. It is almost always caused by a loose track bar, either at the axle end or frame end. First check the tightness of the bolts at both ends. Any play in the track bar will cause death wobble. A certain cure is a new track bar with the fasteners torqued to the correct specs. Most of the time though, just tightening the bolts at the frame and axle ends will cure the "shakes". The grey bar in the picture is the track bar.

I have to admit this does sound like a tire issue, but if rotating them doesn't help then you may need 4 tires. I also believe there is something els the matter causing the tires to wear like this. either the ball joints or suspension. Since the problem went away with two newer tires for awile tells me new tires fixed the problem but it came back due to sometnig worn out and causing the issue. Before getting new tires have your mechanic garuntee there is no other hidden isse in the suspension causing the break down of your tires.

Bent rods....Okay...first thing...did you hit anything or or run over anything? Second, did you go off-roading....

It could be a few things....some easy and some expensive...but need to know what you have done with the Jeep first.

lol Make sure you wash the inside of your rims after you go playing in the mud. a small amount of dried mud will make your wheel shake at a high speed. It will unbalance your wheel.

get all 4 tires changed and get the dam spare back off of it

I would start by first making sure you dont have a bent rim. Check the tires for any bubbles in the sidewall or any deformation in the tire as this would suggest a broken cord inside the tire. If that checks out, get the tires balanced and see if that solves the problem.

Has it been wrecked. If not could be the tires or could be that you have lost a weight on the rims. Have tire balanced or replace it the tires are bad or the alignment is out. Most of the times its the tires or weights have fell off the rim.

could be a bent rim ? have you changed the universal joints? how about the tie rods and stabilizer bar

if it is shaking all the time it is more than likely bad tires or they are out of balance, if only when braking then it will be warped rotors.
