I have given my Santro Xing car for denting/painting work under insurance to A1 Auto Pvt. Ltd., Chandivali Indl. Estate, Chandivali, Mumbai-400072 (Phone 022-28470583 on Sep.30, 2010. While handing over the vehicle, I had categorically mentioned that I wanted my vehicle, duly repaired, latest by Oct.08, 2010 because I had family function from Oct.09 to Oct. 11, 2010. Insurance surveyor surveyed the vehicle on Oct.01, 2010 and admitted the claim. Thereafter, it was promised by Rao/Sandip of A1 Auto that the vehicle would be returned, duly repaired, by Oct.06, 2010 evening. However, till today, my vehicle is not returned. I also spoke to the Manager, Mr. Sharma but he expressed his inability to complete the work. I was also informed that they have some problem regarding premises and 24 cars of various customers are siezed and it could not be removed. Before, this I was told that painting plant is breakdown. I do not understand as what is exact problem and when my vehicle would be deliverd. I have strong doubt that there are some malicious intentions. In the month of Mar./Apr. my vehicle was there for about a month. I feel that some thing fishy is going on. As I am not a knowlegeable person, I can not pin point but some thing is wrong. I would request to look into the matter and ensure prompt, satisfactory and proper services.

How do i remove dent from a car without ruining the painted surface and many more?

Depends on how deep the dent is, is it a sharp crease, has the paint cracked in or near the dent? There are kits available that can pop out a simple dent, but not a more severe dent. You can Google paintless dent removal to see the kits and where to get one.

Couple of things are
1) If the shop was and insurance referral to their location get the insurance company involved.
2) you can contact the BBB and issue a complaint
3) contact the department of Agriculture (motor Vehicle ) and issue a complaint
4) contact Hyundai representative for the Hyundai dealers in the area, ( the person who makes sures the dealership is in compliance with Hyundai guidelines)
5) get to the general manager of the dealership involved and issue a complaint.

It doesn't necessarily have to be in this order but you do have options ,,, good luck

My car santro xing .purchased one year back. any

Before attempting to start it, unplug and clean any electrical connectors that were under water. change the diff fluid in both diffs, transfer case lube, trans oil and engine oil. Seals on most are canted inward to prevent oil from escaping but aren't really good at keeping water out when submerged. You may not have any water in any of those items, but its far cheaper to do the oil changes than to replace any one of those.
