When I start the acceleration, the brake light comes on for just a few seconds and goes out. I checked the fluid levels.

Be safe: Check the level of your brake fluid first. It may well be that you have low brake fluid.

If your brake fluid level is okay suspect the switch activated by the parking brake. And also be aware, that it can take a few seconds for that brake light to extinguish after start up..

Check the brake fluid.

check the brake fluid level, there is a float in the resavor when you stop all the fluid moves to the frount of the resavor causing the float to drop and turn on the light. fill the master cylinder with DOT 3 brake fluid.

check the master cylinder fluid level as it maybe low also there is a fluid level sensor and sometimes they get stuck and if you tap it a few times it will rise to the proper level.this can turn on the light.also if the fluid is quite low then have the brakes checked as the fluid goes down as the brakes wear and they may need replacing.

Check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir (master cylinder). A slightly low level will set the light off as the fluid is being rushed backward during acceleration. When this fluid is rushed back, the level of fluid is probably dipping below the desired level therefore setting the light off.

Check you brake fluid, If its low when you go WOT the fluid will move away from the sensor and the light with come on and take a few seconds to reset

hi 1st thing to check is the brake fluid level is topped up as the reservoir has a sensor fitted to cap so as brake pads/shoes wear the fluid is displaced from reservoir to compensate cylinders hence fluid level falls and puts light on as you brake ? also possibility is that your pads may be fitted with low brake pads warning indicators/wires which also puts same light on as you brake and goes off when you let off to accelerate ? check both of these possibilities if you req more help/advice by all means come back with info

IT COULD ABS RELAY OR FAULTY ABS UNIT CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL.BE BEST TO LET DEALERSHIP CHECK IT OUT.THEY HAVE SPECIAL SCANNER TO TROUBLE SHOOT IT.

Hello... I would recommend checking for a frozen (stuck) rear brake, a mis-adjusted emergency brake light switch, a stuck or sticking parking brake cable or a mis-adjusted brake pedal rachet lock which is the locking mechanism that holds down the brake pedal. Remember it could be multiple problems.

check the brake fluid level in most cases if the brake fluid is low you need the brakes replaced
