I am having problems with my c200 automatic 1998 model ,
the acceleration is rather on the too slow side and this was after i took it for the general servicing,
i noticed on my DIY attempt that i socket- in cable type was unplugged from an area right close to the air filter, when i forced it back in , the situation got worse and the car moves with interval jerks as if its cjoking on air supply or something

Possibly faulty air flow meter, start engine remove wire socket from air flow meter, is it better than before replace air flow meter, is this information helped you?

you should check the connection to the main board and the connections to the motor for the wipers. these sometimes become gunked up, so when you pull them apart to check them clean them with sand paper or something that can scrub them like a green scratch pad
Well a trans shop would need to look at it but I would suspect the valve body is having a problem. It is inside the trans so a shop needs to look at it anyway.
this could be one of many problems or even a combination, most common are: clogged air filter, clogged catalytic converter, malfunctioning ECM, faulty mass airflow sensor, plugs/wires. take the vehicle in to have it diagnosed professionally. hope this helps.
