Where can I find a completer electrical diagram for a 1998 Audi Cabriolet converable? I need to troubleshoot a malfunction with the top.

There is a key over ride position if your boot becomes locked due to electrical failures you have to turn the key in the boot lock that bit further then push in the barrel.

Picture the slot position something like ten past eight rather than 6 oclock or five past seven

remove the battery cables for 20 minutes and return

it sounds like the cable for the lever is either stretched or broken if it uses a cable. if it's controlled electronically it may be the sensor needs replacing.
