from a parts store, obtain a trim removal tool. You'll find a series of clips holding the plastic in place and can use this smooth tool to gently pry it off of the headliner without marring anything. Use the tool to feel around the outside edge of the console and pry down when you feel a clip that's holding it up.

A good set of struts and shocks will eliminate excessive bouncing when driving or when you come across bumps and other mishaps in the road. So inconclusion if your car is not doing a whole lot of bouncing when you are driving that is a good thing, because that means your struts and shocks are doing their job and that means there is nothing wrong with them.
Your car is kind of new so I would be shocked if the shocks or struts or springs depending on the model are bad but you may want to check them. In regards to hearing the motor running in the back sounds like it is your fuel pump. hope this helps
Hello. The tension can be adjusted. Just loosen the tensioning pulley, use a crow bar to put tension on the serpentine belt and tighten that tensioning pulley back down. Joe
