2000 Mitsubishi Nativa or montero sports in USA - diesel turbo engine, first start of the morning i have to keep the revs up high or the engine cuts out after about 30 secs, once the engine is warm no further problems throughout the day. Runs smooth. Starts without problems everytime. I have changed the fuel filter and primer pump.

Easiest thing to do is to measure it when you drain it and put that much back in

there is a fuel blockage either in the fuel pump or the fuel lines.

my monterosport 2001 runs great till you come to a stop sign the rpms drop and it dies start it back up revs itself and rpms drop and it dies. we can start it up rev it and it clearsup and idles but later on when you come to a stop it dies again we have cleaned the egr valave and still same thing could the tps be the problem or what?

did you torque the bolts to manufacturers standard. did you install the piston rings in the richt position

What you're looking for is called a "Transmission Control Module." To my knowledge the Montero Sport was not offered with a diesel powered engine, only a gasoline powered engine offered in either a 3.5L V6 or a 3.0L V6.

maybe your heater plug is defective,or your heater relay does not work

These engines have been known for faulty cam seals (eg. Montero, Montero Sport (Nativa), Endeavor). You might not see oil on the ground because it gets burned up by the exhaust. Check that first.

Put a diesel additive in and see if that helps.
