Sounds like it is not getting much fuel. when you step on gas pedal to call for more fuel, its not there so it will quit. check fuel filter to be sure it is ok! have a good day!!

Dont touch the gas pedal or it might flood and not start. Have someone spray a little starting fluid in the Air filter tube while you try to start it.

Wen i turn on the Pontiac it runs good for like 7 seconds and thin it turns off i don't know why it dose that i need help?

Get a full systems check, it's probably a bad fuel pump. which means your engine isn't sucking in enough fuel to keep it continuously running, you probably have alot of build up as well, try system cleanser, put it in a full tank of gas and see if it can stay running long enough to remove some build up. Otherwise you have to go to a mechanic.

hope it helps

My 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix will not idle

the computer probably need to relearn the idle-try driving the car for 20-30 minutes,i u can. if that doesnt work, try keeping the car in drive at idle speed if possible without touching the gas pedal-even though it might stall, see if eventually the idle will raise up on its own.hope this helps you.

ENGINE STALLS WHEN I STEP ON GAS PEDAL

Sounds like your fuel pump is going bad! The more you press on the pedal the more demand is on the pump and it cant keep up cuz its junk. Try to limp it to a shop to replace it, unless u wanna do that yourself.....
