The area outlined in blue is the fuse block that you see when you remove the cover from the end of the dash on the driver's side, and the yellow box is where the BCM (body control module) is mounted. Here is a photo of the fuse block:

I had my Bluetooth in the cig lighter and when I took it out, a fuse n 2 other small things popped out, and lighter does not work now, so is the fuse in the lighter or the side box?? And how do you replace it?
get the oper, guide
or read the FSM. WJ FSM. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service
its there. shows the schematic and full fuse box data.
you could just check the fuses... no need for a book, at all
check them. if some are blown then they need to be replaced
or the short found.
If you do not have the Jeep 2002 Owner's Manual,
I would suggest that you try the "Jeep's" web site to obtain
the Owner's Manual, where you will find the location of
all fuses.
its probably not the lighter itself, it's probably lost power. check the fuse for the cig lighter and see if blown. if it is, replace. if it blows immediately you have a dead short. if not, pay attention to when it stops working. could be a problem with whatever you are plugging in, or something else on the circuit
LOOK FOR THE FUSE BOX IT WILL SAY [ CL ]for CIG LIGHTER FUSE MITE BE A 30 JUST LOOK FOR THE FUSE BOX OR SEE LEXUS DEALER IT AN 2007 MAYBE 35DOLLARS OR LOOK YOURSELF
Two years later and you solved my dead cigarette lighter. manual says fuse 35--but it did not say to check 38 on the left fuse box. Thanks--blown fuse and everything works. Thanks
