We have replaced the crank sensor three times. The first time as we traveled down the road I thought the transmission was slipping every few miles. After another 40 miles it seemed that a vacuum hose feel off. Lost half the power and it was loud. Then started working again. It was the crank sensor. The next two times it felt like the transmission again but we were wiser. Pulled into our mechanic and he hooked up a plug in diagnostic tool and each time said it was the crank sensor. Wonder if there is a recall on this sensor but have not found one.
