Thanks for your instant reply to my parts request for the Seat cordoba. i am in Australia and Seat's have not been sold here for more than 10 years and even then not many were sold. I have spoken in detail to my local vw spare parts people and they have shown me the schematic drawings for the vw part and it is not the same as the Seat one (similar but not the same)if you can source one for me in Spain that would be fantastic because I cannot find one here. Please let me know the cost.i will take a photo of the part and e.mail it to you if you like if you give me an e.mail address.there are 4 small parts involved; the shaft spring spacer and clip. I still have the key return spring. thanks again for your prompt reply. Jack

Have a seat cordoba. My problem is my remote fob key is not working i`ve changed the battery and the light comes on but the doors still don`t open

yeah my door lock wont open, i have to get in through the boot, i went to the seat dealership after a mechanic looked at it and said it was a barrel problem, made a few calls and its a manufacture part so 86 euro for the part and a 5 day wait and then whatever the mechanic charges to install. apparently its a problem on all Cordoba and a few VW since they make the engine and main parts. if i could get one in a scrap yard and use 2 keys i would this time of year n all, i just need some sort of lock asap. does this sound the same as your problem?

Car lights wont turn off

No we have not found a solution, as our car is a SEAT Cordoba, not JETTE, because you dont have SEAT Cordoba on your list of cars, possibly because your website is US based, and you dont have SEAT,s in the US
