You need to retrieve the codes using an OB11 meter. It could be a number of things causing your problem. It could be an o2 sensor, coolant sensor, idle sensor or the fuel filter . I doubt it's the converter. OB11 is not too expensive & easily read. They range in price from 40-200 dollars. The cheaper one will suffice. Good luck! PS I don't think OB11 will read on your car; however, check with any autoshop & they may be able to show you the proper tool to obtain the codes. Good luck!

I have a 1992 Buick Roadmaster that stalls sometimes when coming to a stop or making slow turns(turning into a parking space, for example). I've changed the egr, vacuum solenid, distributor, cap and rotor...

Have you cleaned the intake manifold, you can get this at an auto supply store, sometimes deposits build up and block off air causing stalling when idling. just use according to instructions. If that doesn't help check fuel filter, fuel pump pressure, and all ground connections from battery and motor to body ground strap. These can become coeeoded underneath and cause all kinds of problems

94 nissan quest has started idling at 500 rpm. I

Jeff did you figure this out. I am dealing with the exact same thing currently. Things to look at are Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF), Throttle position Sensor (TPS), Air Idle control valve. I have played with everything but the Air control valve. I tried three different MAF, including a ghost sensor (circuit to match ressitance). I'm going to investigate the air idle control tommorrow. Let me know if this helps or if you get it figured oot

94 Bravada that stumbles and stalls.. won't start when warm..

Try checking the exhaust flow when someone else is pushing down on the gas petal. The farther the petal gos down, the more exhaust should be coming out. I replaced my catalitic convertor at 44000 miles, it was clogged. I had them install a high flow type.
