99 lincoln naviagator that bounces bad and sits low in rear<

My 1999 lincoln navigator bounces when driven and the rear is sitting lower on my tires now. Before this happened my check engine light would come on I took it to the shop and they would keep replacing plugs and coils 1 at a time charging me 190.00 a pop and now besides sitting low it feels like powerless and no get up to it and I was told by my mechanic that it probably was my converter? Please help!

Forgot toi turn the air suspension off when

Remove battery, remove windshield washer bottle, remove air compressor and disconnect both air lines from the compressor dryer. Make sure compressor electrical wiring is plugged in, install battery, turn suspension switch to ON, turn ignition switch to the ON position, close all door and the compressor should come on and completely lower the whole truck. Once the truck is completely down, turn the ignition OFF, remove battery and connect both air lines. Install battery ensure electrical wiring is plugged in, turn ignition switch to ON, the compressor should come on and raise the vehicle to the correct ride height.

2001 Lincoln Navigator Air Suspension

the auto leveling is standard on the navigator.
first you have to understan that the auto leveling system is on front and rear of these trucks.
one way to tell is do you hear the pump running and do you have air in the front bags. and if you do you need a rear level sensor.
