I have a chevy cobalt coupe 2005-2006. More like a 2005 but considered a 2006. It was wrecked, and the radio will not turn off. Think it might be a fuse but I need to know which fuse to check/replace. It also may have something to do with the ignition or some wiring in the steering column. If anyone has suggestions or knows exactly where the fuse is for the radio could you please help me out?

If the radio fuse was blown, the radio wouldn't work.
You are guessing and have no idea what to do.
Get a wiring diagram and a VOM Meter ,and learn how to use it.

U R talking a BIG job if U don't know how to work in the dask of UR car. The newer vehicles are a tare the WHOLE dash out to get to a few things. If U R confident in UR knowledge & abilities, U may pull it off. Taking UR time is one of the main things that U have to remember so that something DOESN'T get broke. NEVER FORCE any thing, if it doesn't come out, look for another screw, clip, bolt or something like that.
you will need to do a security relearn.
1.turn key to on position and leave on
2.after 10 minutes the light will flash and go out turn the key on to off 3x then leave on again.
3. do this 3 times for 30 minutes then after 30 minutes your 3rd time and after turning the key 3 times the 4th time start the car. it should start right up.
this is probably a safety. no explosion, shut down. check to make sure no wires were cut/damaged and look in the trunk for an emergency shut off. there might also be a shut down relay onboard. if there is it's under the hood in the relay box.
