1999 honda accord camshaft position sensor replace on 2.3 litre vtec .. where is it located

1999 honda accord (gen 6) no problem told , dead engine/spark???????
NO country told but is this engine.(so I DO USA)!
2.3L (real hame H23 (something) your secret. NOT V6.sure.
if In uSA we ask you the VIN and the VIN is engine coded to the exact H engine there. (of the 5) the DOHC?
so if DOHC the first thing that come to mine is 2 CMP sensors or 2.
2 cam engines some have 2 CMP sensor. for far better park timing..
and varies by country, (smog rules not the same so.....) yeah none told.
our 2.3L is SOHC< not DOHC as some are.world wide. (dig)?
now answering only for USA spec, car 1999 , i read the SM service manual to you now
ok, this car as the old DISTRIBUTOR
and CMP is deep inside that, not fixed too any cam, at all
this car , this country this engine.
a seperate HV spark coil ,fitted deep inside DIZZY
an ICM module inside the Dizzy anD
CMP IS CALLED CYP HONDA. AND IS SHOW BELOW
IF THE pcm SCANS SHOW, P03XX CODE FOR CMP THIS DEAD
OR THE CAM BELT IS SLIPPED OR SNAPPED DEAD.
the belt on the cam never lasted 23 years ever.
so is bad that old, and when even slipped the PCM block spark
this honda engine is and INTERFERENCE engien, and must not be allowed to slip that belt or break or bend valves you will
All Honda engines are Interference except 3.0L & 3.2 which are Non-Interference.

if spark is dead, CYP is bad, or ICM or belt slipped/
do not run any honda like this , with a bad cam belt or go broke $$$$$

Can anyone tell me ho I need to position crank shaft and camshaft exactly to fit belt straight on 1985 Honda civic shuttle 1.5i gt engine

there is a dot on the sprocket gear for cam and crank shaft set them to top dead center. after installing belt use a long ruler to check alignment. the dots and center bolts should be in a straight line. after checking rotate engine by hand one full cycle to ensure it is free of obstruction. it is best to set timing mark to zero before starting replacement of belt. if belt is broke before starting you may need to rotate the cam and crank at the same time to keep the valves from hitting the cyclinder. check for u tube video, timing belt replacement for your car

How do you fix a timing belt that is one tooth off? (Honda Accord 1997 2.2L)

The only way is to strip everything related with the belt.
Time the engine on the marks.
Lock the crank and cams if possible.
Then fit the belt.
Once the belt is fitted and tensioned correctly turn the engine over by hand a couple of rotations before you start it up.
Thats just to make sure its timed correct.

Need to know how to time a 1995 honda accord just need to know where to put the marks on the gears for the short belt

The timing pointer must be aligned with the white mark on the flywheel. The cam pulley must be set so the small dot or the word UP is vertical and the marks on the edges of the pulley are aligned with the surface of the head, then the belt is fitted to the engine (pulley) and slid onto the cam pulley.
There is also a procedure for setting the adjusting bolt, which I assume you know?
