My kids got into the car this morning (into the back) and a masive twang noise happened. now it feels like the back of the car has gone down slightly and everytime i go over a bump/pothole it makes a sound as though something has broke andy ideas as the kids are noe heavy so dont understand. help please?

Bearing probally shot, if you were to jack up *** end of car, and if once wheel off ground an you can move it side to side, like if you were to grab bottom of wheel an move it IN 7 OUT, then it needs work, dont drive it to far, it will break off, or sumthing broke in around the brakes.....

bang bang bang is ok. bada bing bada bing is not. you've got the 3bang problem. 3 bangs means the transmission and output shaft is locked. It will act like the motor is locked but it isn't. The tail isn't wagging the dog. The transmission is locked and the motor won't start, because of the 3 bang problem.

Handbrake handle has no feeling i parked up pulledthe handbrake it had plenty of tention then suddenly went bang then no feeling i am hoping this is just the cable & not too exspensive please help....
if you are able and be safe by chocking the wheels, lay on your back and look on the inside of the back wheels and this will tell you a little more of what you are dealing with. If you heard a bang then your cable has either come loose at eh back hubs or your cable has snapped loose from the handbrake underneath. This better probably be checked as soon as possible because you may be only using your front brakes to stop now, because your parking brake is tied in with your rear brakes.

Front brakes replaced and then heard a loud bang
A noise like that in brakes are not something to guess at, or play around with. Call the place that did the brake job, and explain to them what happened. My guess is that they will come to you, or advise you to very carefully bring it to them for a look. Might have been a stone wedged or something but don't take the chance, have it looked at, a.s.a.p. and don't drive it if you don't have to until then.

Banging inside dashboard
Most likely an ac system stepper motor armature is broken allowing it to turn round and round as it performs its self checks. This is a pretty involved repair (the dashboard and center console will be removed along with the support brace underneath) and is not recommended for anyone not trained. The good news is, it is not detrimental to the vehicle. Assuming of course, that this is indeed the problem.
