CITROEN C2 HDI KEEPS CUTTING OUT WHEN ACCELERATING, ENGING MANAGEMENT DID SHOW THROTTLE SWITCH PROBLEM BUT LIGHT HASNT BEEN ON SINCE, BUT STILL KEEPS CUTTING OUT ON ACCELERATION WHEN COLD

I had a similar problem with my Toyota Hilux, it turned out to be the brake light switch. While driving, dab the breaks just enough to trigger the brake lights, if your motor cuts out then it could be the brake light switch

Take it to a citroen agent. the 2004 and 2005 had faulty turbos and thats the fault. Citroen parts are the same but cheaper.

have vechicle code scan to see what causing engine management light to turn on.

Has the fuel pressure been checked?

I you belive you press the button on the dash infront if the trip counter then turn ignition on and hold button in for 10 seconds it should then re-set.

Sounds like an air leak or the tank pump cannot keep up with demand (the supply pump in tanks do give trouble (a pressure gauge between tank and engine would tell, make sure it is visable when driving, I used to tape it to the bonnet with masking tape.
