i would like to know the amswer to that question as well, cause i bought a new 2004 ,6 cylinder ,4 door sxt and going from one cear to another,it jerks in gear .can you tell me if i have transmission problems.every time i tell the dealer they say it's normal,my temp gauge raises to the half mark without going 5 miles,is this normal,

As long as the check engine light and no drivability issue. The vehicle is just power down the a/c and engine oil is cooling down going back into the oil pan, The coolant pressure is going down. This should like it is normal.

I have a 2004 dodge stratus 2.4 dual overhead cam. When driving down the road, bell goes off, check engine light comes on, and it's like I'm driving on limp mode, when going over 2000 rpm's, there's a severe stutter. After getting code for light it points to cam shaft sensor, which i changed. I also changed crank shaft sensor. After all of this was done, drove great for about 30 miles and the same thing happened all over again. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Find out why the check engine light is on, and fix it.

Check the skematic under the hood,probably the charcoal casister is where it goes to. That leak will make the car run crappy.

Cycle the key in the door lock to turn off the alarm.

Have the pcv valve checked (positive crankcase ventiation) I had a pontiac that did the samething. The pcv was bad.Changed it and no more smell.
