Changing the tail light cover for 2003 town and country minivan

all v engines have 2 or 4
i can be different for calif. cars.. are yah?
1996 is USA (calif , federal versions)
1998 is canada
3.8L: V6
the version that has a crossover ,bank 1 to bank 2.
so shares a cat ,and has 1 sensors in front of cat on manifold
and 1 for the cat. rear.
the rear 02 is seen a wire to a grommet under drivers seat
to the cat rear. 02 sensor
the front sensor, is under wiper motor, the book says it must be removed, wiper motor. first

The actual bumper is underneath a large section of foam, beneath the bumper cover. Remove bumper cover, lift off foam and all should become clear.

pull lever on side of seat it should pop up with no problem

Lift the tail gate and locate the plastic covering. This should just unclip and expose the back side of the tail lights. Find the offending bulb, psuh down a little and twist it out of the holder. Replace with a new one (make sure the filaments are exact). Refit plastic cover, shut tail gate, check lights work.

Normally a removable cover in trunk area behind it will expose what you need.

Its in the box next to the battery and i had the same problem.The fuse is on the first line top.

Once the liftgate is open, on the inside next to the tail light assembly, you'll see two black knobs. There are no screws involved, but you will need a regular screw driver and pliers. You need to gently pry or pull these two knobs outwards. Once these knobs are dislodged entirely, the assembly should easily come off. Brake bulb #3057 is the replacement. Good luck.

Open the tailgate and on either side you'll see 2 screws holding the tail light assembly. Unscrew these and the assembly will come off. It might take a little prying if it has never been removed before. Each bulb is in a base attached to the assembly from the back. Turn the base 1/4 turn and pull out to get access to the bulb itself.
